Hi,
I am a newish user and am having trouble making a simple lofted part. The error that I consistnetly get is that 'the guide curve is not valid. It does not intersect with section 2'. The section 2 comment varies depending on which sketch is selected first.
My profile is circular to square, although for testing I have been using circle to circle. The guide path is a series of lines and arcs that make a 90 degree bend. results are the same if the guidleines are all seperate sketches or just one sketch. I have made the guide curves thru the center points of the sketched circles, but apparently these sketches are not associated with the guide curves.
If I do not use the guidelines the lofted solid is created from my profile sketches.
Unfortunately my usual sources of help are all on vacation (lucky me-I get to work this week) so any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Your Guide Curves must intersect the actual profile and not run along the center of the profile. So sounds like you will have to change your guide curves. Make them after you make your profiles.

Here is a simple loft -
Another option in lofting is "Show all connectors. This will help you control the guide curves within the feature.
