I make some work concerning a clay cylinder. The cylindrical coordinate is respected. Mohr Coulomb plastic criterion is considered, it is projected on deviatoric pie-plane and it is expressed in (I1/3 , J2,theta(lode angle)).
I would appreciate knowing your advice concerning the following question.
Does theta has to be ONLY = -30° or Only = +30 ° or either in the range from 0° to +30° or from 0° to -30° in order to fulfill the constancy condition (shear case)?.
Thank youbeforehand
