I am working on automating a winching system to load open top hopper railcars from an overhead conveyor.
This will need to sense that the cars are in position to be loaded then advance as the product reaches a certain height above the top of the car.
This particular project will involve 7 cars that will travel just over 500 ft.
Before I go off and try to re-invent the wheel I wanted see if I could find information on any companies that do this sort of control system, examples of operations or any other information I can gather.
