As I understand, Lip Seal is basically used for high pressures and mainly gaseous fluid to avoid permeation of gases and damage of seals.
Is there a general understanding or criteria where to use Lipseal ?
Also there is a weldoverlay suggested for the Seal areas in both static and dynamic seals for Lipseals. Where is this required and which alloy ?
