Linux Mint (Ubuntu) installation fails

Hi,

My SP1 installation has expired and I was prompted to install the latest version, SP2.
I downloaded the .deb file and tried to install it but it crashed with the following errors:

As it has destroyed my earlier version I am stuck.
Any ideas chaps?
