Linking PDMworks with SQL Server

I the requirements from solidworks it says that you need SQL server as well as server 2003/8


When looking through the instructions of how to instal PDMworks which were downloaded from the net it doesnt say how PDMworks links with SQL server.


When installing PDMworks does PDMworks link with SQL serverautomatically or will it ask me to set up SQL server?

You simply need to set up notifications and point those to an SQL server than has API to do whatever you want with your notifications. I would suggest getting PDM Workgroup Admin training.
