I am in the process of building a gripper for a robot.
My question is about Linear Guide Blocks and Rails, I never
see a mounting example of them being upside down. Will that
limit the weight capacity of the guide block? It will be
only about 48 lbs with about 12 lbs worth of tooling ,about
60 lbs total.I am thinking of using two with a dynamic load of 1,872 lbs ea. It is going to be a 3 tier gripper
head and I am going to be mounting the Guide Blocks the same way ,with added weight ,and using larger guide blocks.Do you see any problems with this application?
Thanks in advance,
