Is there a way in SW2007 to change the line spacing in annotations? Has this been changed in SW2008?

In a multi-line annotation, I want to increase the spacing between auto-numbered notes.

Recommended for you

Tools > Options > Document Properties > Detailing > Annotations Fonts > Note

In the Height box on the right, change the Space for your note font.

Be sure to save the templates when you are done.

You can also do this for an indvidual note if you do not want to change your document globally. Un-check the 'Use document font' check box in the feature manager, on the left, for your note. Then hit the Font button below that to change your font for that specific note.

Thanks Anna,
The problem is I want to change the spacing between the notes, not every line. I'm looking for the same functionality as in MS Word Paragraph settings where you can change the spacing before or after a paragraph.

The annotation settings in SolidWorks is not that sophisticated. I would not be suprised if you can not even get to that with the API.

You may want to submit an enhancement request,
