Is there a way of adjusting line resolution in the display of draft files. Lines of different thicknesses often don't appear different on screen. Also aliasing looks bad. I would like the on screen image closer to printouts and images.

Thanks

you may want to try.. in a draft file, go to menu Tools-> Options, then on the View tab click on "Display as Printed"

Hi Alan,
If you use 'DISPLAY AS PRINTED' the lines will appear to increase in thickness as you zoom in - just like zooming in on a bitmap image.
At higher zooms you will not be able to read any of your drawing.
Are you sure you have your line thicknesses set correctly ?
What graphics card & monitor are you using and at what resolution ?

Alan, your printout will have a 600 to 1200dpi output, while your screen shows 72-100 pixels/inch. As beachcomber says, thin lines with different widths won't look different on the screen until you zoom in. You may be asking too much of your computer screen...
