Line lengths

I was wondering if there was any other way of making a line a specific length besides sketching the object then constraining it. Is there a way to input lengths like in mechanical desktop in the command prompt. Thanks for any help.

Dear jveland,
You can enter the length of line segment in the dimension fields in "Precise Input" toolbar. There is some different methods for entering coordinates or lengths.

Just insert the dimension in the sketch and add the dimension there.
