Limits for crest vertical curvature at bridges for sight distance?

Because of the some of the deaths associated with the Sunshine Skyway span collapse, I understood there were limits placed on the vertical curvature for bridges and approach roadways to ensure adequate sight distance. I can't seem to find what those limits would be, though. Were there limits put in place? If so, could you direct me to documentation of the limits?

Typically geometric limitations are based on design speed and type of roadway. The Green Book doesn't make any distinction about SSD on a road versus a bridge.
 
Thanks, bridgebuster. I thought because of the Sunshine Skyway they had added special requirements due the potential for drivers to be unaware of the loss of a span. Perhaps they've updated the sight distance requirements for everything.

you're welcome Rod. Maybe FDOT has specific requirements. I'll see if I have a vintage Green Book to see if SSD changed.
