Hi there,
I'm fresh out of uni and pretty green, so please help.
I have a 25mm (1") pinch valve on a lime slurry (milk of lime) pnematically actuated with a full-on, full-off operation. The problem is the pinch valve sleeve is being corroded to quickly and spliting too soon.
I'm trying to extend the life of the sleeve.
I'm not exactly sure what it's made of but it says something about it being made of 'Nitrile'....?
Have anyone done research into the best material and design of the sleeve?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I am also open to a change in valve type but apparently not many suitable valves are made that small.
Thanks
Mark O
