Can anyone help me with a current typical steel specification for say a light truck (half ton pickup) ladder frame?

William

Another specification is SAE J2340 Categorization and Properties of Dent Resistant, High Strength, and Ultra
High Strength Automotive Sheet Steel
, with HSLA grades being commonly used.

Thank you gentlemen for steering me in the right direction.
