Van's Aircraft [Oregon]is tooling up their LSA kit, and the kit price is around $50k. Flight test has revealed a nice performer with a 100HP engine.
Sonex [Oshkosh] is offering their factory built S-LSA including 40HP engine for about $50k. This is in line with pilot expectations. Other factory built S-LSA's are coming in over $100K, many of them imports.
Zenith [Missouri] has an S-LSA offering, priced well under $100k. This is a derivative of their low wing model.
