License Borrowed - License lost early

Twice now I have successfully borrowed a license from our server for a 2 day period and both times I have lost the license. The licenses were borrowed on Friday, started running ProE on Saturday, closed out of ProE then could not get back into ProE.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, are there any solutions to this problem?

Edit: both times the license was borrowed from a desktop shortcut.

Thanks,
Joe

After borrowing, did you check (using ptcstatus.bat), if the license was really borrowed?
You can see that by the character ^ in front of the entry.

Yes, it did have the ^ character next to it. Also, it was, at one point, running off of the network that hosts the license server.

If you can reproduce this issue every time, I'd recommend to open a case at PTC!

Thanks Don. I saw in another forum that opening the license borrow directly from the bin directory worked better for someone (I had been using a desktop shortcut). We haven't been able to reproduce the problem since.

Thank you.
