Library Features not working?

Anyone has been successful at using library features in 2008 SW 1.1? SW just crashes when I drag a feature onto a part.

Can you provide some more background on your problem? Is SP1.1 when you started using '08? Do you receive an error message? Does it happen with any library feature?

On this particular computer 1.1 is when I started using 08. However, I installed 08 SP0.0 on one of the other computers in my department and the library features work just fine. We have been using these library features for the past 4 years in SW.

I use library features in SW08, SP1.1 with no issues.

Here is an update - I installed 1.1 on anohter computer and had no issues with the library features. So I think we narrowed down the problem to that specific computer.

I just went through this... Swx crashing when dragging a lib feature onto a surface... My VAR walked me through registering the msflxgrd.ocx file and all was well again.

Granted, this was SWX 2007 5.0, but it sounds like a very similar situation.

Jeff,

I unistalled and re-installed 3 times. My VAR walked me through resetting the registry, completely cleaning the system out and installing SW all over and we still have a problem on that computer. so, my VAR is looking into it.

Was the anti-virus disabled during installation?

Are you using the same install disk for both computers?

Can you swap components (graphics card, RAM, CPU) between computers?

What are the differences between computers? (all installed software and hardware)
