Library features - Dissolve or Not

I was wondering what are the pros / cons to dissolving a library feature after it is insertered to a model.

Pros for dissolving:
The part can be opened and edited on another computer which does not have the same feature in its library


Cons for dissolving:
Longer feature manager
The ability to change configurations of the feature is lost
