LED Matrix Display Driving/Driver 1

I'm currently looking for any helpful material about driving a matrix display, in particularly about LED Matrices/Arrays.

Any documents about the principles/schematics/tutorials would be very helpful.

All that I seem so find helpful is an introduction from Agilent, but I certainly would like some more material for cross-reference.

Any help would be great. Thx in advance!

Maxim has a series of matrix drivers. They have developed a technique to save the number of connections and I think they are the guys to talk to. Have a look at
