Learning C

Hi,

I would like to learn C very fast. I know how to program with Fortran 77 and I need to write some codes in C. Dose any one have any suggestion or recommendation ?

Go to

http://www.maxcode.com

and download one of the tutorials they have. Or go to a book store and buy something basic.
I will have to say that if you are going to do much with C, it is not a language you will master quickly. If you need to get up and writing Windows programs quickly, better buy a copy of Microsoft Visual C++.
Just my opinion.

Download a free compiler, eg DJGPP, write little code to test.
everything is come from practice.

If the program is simple ( less than 300 statements) BASIC
is the simplest (write/debug on interpreter and then compile
it )

C is not easy and it may be difficult to debug.
