learning about telcom microwave systems 1

Dear all, I'm looking for some advice on where to go to learn about telecom microwave system (Ericsson,Siemens,Stratex,NEC etc).
Currently I am working for a company which provide the Electrical works & fire protection system for the telco operators.Now they are going to send me for a training on Microwave equipments repair & maintenance.They want me to be a expert on it.
Now i want to get some knowledge on this which will help me during the training period.
Could someone here be kind enough to point me in the right direction to get started.
