We create composite drawings by referencing other files into model space and then creating viewports in paper space. Problem is, some of my leaders get changed in the process, so that the text is not in the same position in the composite drawing as in the referenced file. It seems to happen to the leaders where the text is left justified and drawn to the left. In the composite drawing, the text is shown to the right. Is there any way to fix this?

On closer inspection, I see that the text doesn't move, the leader moves to the left, so that the end of the first leader segment coincides with the text insertion point.

I assume they are XREF's. Make sure they are reloaded and up to date in the composite dwg. Also make sure the leaders are not blocks that may be redefined in the composite. Shouldn't happen but .... you know AutoCAD.
