Laves Phase in Inconel 718 1

Here are a couple of good starting points.
We have used 718 since it’s inception and I’ve seen Laves Phase only once where it was associated with a failure associate with a small seal weld. It was hard as hell to get it to reveal itself.
In my opinion some good pictures.
