hi

do any one know what are the caracteristics of Latex? I mean when i would like to model it in abaqus which model i shoose (elastoplastic or viscoélastic one?????????

thanks a lot

thanks IcebreakerSours for the answer. I really think about it but i did not found the real properties of this material i think that it has an elastoplastic behaavior but my director said that it is viscoelastic. That's why i am confused now.

Depends if you want to take into account the time (rate) dependent behavior or not ...
Steel is also viscoelastic.

Anyway, if you are going to have large deformations, a hyperelastic material law will probably be better for all purposes.

hi
that is precisely what i want to say. the behavior of my material depends of time.

I do an experimental test and what i have is the relaxation of the friction force vs time. I can use it?
