All,

I am new to pneumatic controls and am looking to see if a component I need is available off the shelf.

I have a pneumatic process valve that is maintained open via soloeniod valve connected to a pressure switch (high pressure closes valve). I need to add a latching function so that the valve will not re-open after a high pressure event until a manual reset valve is pushed. For historical reasons, it would be easiest if that reset function operated pneumatically instead of electrically (all components in hazardous area and sealed).

Is there a 3/2 pushbutton pneumatic valve with a latching/reset function built in?

I could achieve this with multiple components but am hoping that this is a common enough function to available as an integrated component.

Thanks,

Marty

How about a non-return valve and a manual vent before the valve actuator.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't find an all in one on Kuhnke's site. However, I think I better understand the componentry. Included is a diagram showing 2 ways I think I can work this.
