Lasing media pumped via infrared

Does anyone know of any lasing media that can be pumped using infrared radiation in the regions of 4-6 micrometers?? Any response would be greatly appreciated.

I know that waveguide lasers can be pumped using radio frequency radiation, so I'm guessing IR can be used as well.
