Hello All

I am working on a drainage project in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

I have inherited a design for the transformation of an open channel drainage canal into a 4 kilometer-long box culvert that increases in size (in both dimensions) as well as in the number of barrels, starting with 2 barrels and ending up with 4. However, no drawing, not even a conceptual one, has been made for the structures to handle these transitions. In addition, we have numerous bends, including at least two 90 degree turns. A local consultant has been assigned to design the box culverts, but I am sure this is the first time he has done this. I have yet to see what ideas he has. (the language barrier is a factor here). I assume that these structures will be cast-in-place.

Any advice or where I can get more on this topic?
