Is there a high lamination risk for A106 Gr.B pipes?
Pipes will be hydrostatically tested at mill. In addition to hydrostatic test do we need to perform UT at pipe ends to find lamination defects?

Not usually, but it depends on the country of origin. 3rd world mills should be treated with more caution.

Also varies by manufacturer, OD/WT, manufacturing method. All things being equal, if made by a reputable manufacturer, the potential of purchasing modern pipe with lamination is not high.

for that kind pipe for special usage, could ask the special testing report from the supplier.
Like for our client, some testing will be necessary before the delivery from factory, like the hydraullic testing will be as one necessary phase on pipe production

How "high" is too high? Can you accept lamination or not. If not, UT.
