Hi
I am using the laminate element to perform some simulations, my query is if I have different thickness due to the layup configurations, does Nastran take into account the change of section between two of more layups?
I mean the stress path should change and so the stress level passing through a layup to anothe one.
In what way the software takes this behaviour into account?
The software I use it is NX Nastran and Femap
Thanks
