Hi..!

Can anyone suggest me Labview is better or Visual designer for data acquisition system - data monitoring purpose?

And which book or website better for coding?

regards,

I have used both systems and my personal opinion is that Visual Designer gets you started a lot quicker than LabView. So if you want fast results without too much training, I would recommende Visual Designer. But bear in mind that LabView is regarded as THE standard system in many quarters. And I must say that you do get very nice (and fast) functions. Especially if you are doing transient recording and subsequent analysis/storage. But I had to go to a specialist to have the finer details sorted out.

I found the LV painfully slow -- in a control application
magnitudes of order slower than "C".
