This seems like an easy one but I'm striking out so I'll give the forum a shot. I need to label some pipe & tubing in a processing plant and I can't find any labels that will take the temperature. It's not actually steam piping however during cleaning it is exposed to 300ºF temps for periods of half an hour or so during sterilization is exposed to 30 psi steam.

Not an Engineering question but I'm hoping someone can help.

I did it in the past by welding SS name plates to the pipe clamps. Pipe clamps are used only to support the name plates.

Regards,

777gne, Have you though of placing a single insulation section on the pipe before applying the the pipe ID label? These insulation sections can be bought off the shelf.

Hope this helps.
