L410 bag into prop

That would have been a bit of thump and yaw.

To note I can only presume it came from the forward hold.

The door being open or opening on that would be more of a concern to me than a soft bag doing what it did.
 
Ops wrong plane type it's a let 410 which unpressurized and even slower than an ATR
 
Seems unlikely that wouldn't damage the prop.
 
Imagine if that was the person filming's bag.
 
The blades I think are alloy Macaulay props. They are pretty sturdy like the Jetstream.

The prop itself might be ok after NDT.

The gear box, shear spline and a few other things behind it likely not ok.
 
The engine cowling looks like it's seen some things...
 
That item likely wasn't the first piece of luggage shredded that day.
