I am just asking for my brother who is dealing with this particular problem.

it is working fine for 8 years...now it seem to have a problem with reversing from 180 back to 0 and it always stops at about 85 with higher speed like 100% if running at 50% or 75% it is fine...and forwarding from 0 to 180 is no problem as well...

- Has replace with new program
- Has replace with rebuilt motor and amplifier

what else could it be? any helps appreciate it.

You need to identify which axis is giving this bad behavior. Also, 8 years is a lot of time for a robot.

Robot is 6 axis...it is the main base axis (Y), and I am sure it is nothing to do with aged of robot...this is only happens on the reverse (counter clockwise) with higher speed...and clockwise is running fine with any speed...
