King Studs for Glulam Column

I have a residential site where a 3-ply LVL beam is spanning a new 24' opening and sitting on a 5-1/4" square structural glulam column on each end and attached with a Simpson column cap.
Are there any code requirements for # of king studs in this scenario since it doesn't fall into the usual jack/king setup layout from the IRC? Top plate does not continue above LVL and will stop at the kings.
 
Can you provide a partial framing plan?

Agreed with KootK. All you should need is a single king stud in a situation like that.
