Hello,

when I generate a trace from a point through the kinematic with the option "create new part" for this trace, it is not positioned correctly - so with the first point in the original point, but somewhere in space! This is not very nice, with Catia 4 it was very simple to obtain the trace in the right position! Am I missing something?

I would guess that you have the part with a relative position to the main Product

is the reference the right level ?

for my last kinematic, I have only 1 catproduct and 3 parts, no sublevel and my trace (of a point) is ok in all 3 output options.

Haven't tested but I think that if you have an assembly and insert it in a product and there create a kinematic study, it will be referenced to the main product and not the sub assembly. All DMU studies are based on the main/top product. So check the relative position of the trace by inserting it on different levels, like top level, sublevel.
