The 2 K&C machines I am familiar in the US are at Goodyear and at Bridgestone/Firestone. Theese are both located in Akron, OH.
BFS=MTS system
GY=Anthony Best system
just a quick list of capabilities:
-Verticle Motion
-Roll Motion
-Lateral Aiding Compliance
-Lateral Opposing Compliance
-Longitudinal Braking Compliance
-Longitudinal Acceleration Compliance
-Aligning Torque Aiding Compliance
-Aligning Torque Opposing Compliance
-Center of gravity
-Steering ratio
Basically the machine is outputing information for EVERY degree of freedom, at each wheel and the body structure. So you can see that the amount of data is rather large. Typically the data output sheet is a spreadsheet about 25 columns with about 100 rows of data, FOR EACH WHEEL.
As for a test plan.... most companies that operate a K&C machine do it very often, so they usually have a set list of tests that will automatically be performed. And they can also taylor a specific test if you are looking for one particular thing.
