Hello to the group.

We are running in managed mode with TC10.

In NX9 whenever you RMB on a component within an assembly the attributes tab context "Apply to" defaults to Component.
Even after you select "Part" on the "Apply to" pull down it will revert back to "Component" if you select apply.
I have recorded a macro which prompts a user to select a component from the assembly navigator and then does menu-edit-properties on the component and then changes the attributes tab "Apply to" pulldown from Component to Part.
This macro works great except that it seems to remember how many levels deep you drilled into your assembly to select the component.
When I created the macro I selected a component directly in the top level assembly.
When I run the macro it works for components within the top level assembly and the next level below that.
It fails if you go 2 levels deep below the top level.
Does anyone have any ideas, I worked with our reseller who is also stumped.

Would a journal or grip program work better? or am I doing something incorrect.

Thank you in advance.

Regard
Jurgen
