joint sealant in parking garage

Can anyone recommend a good joint sealant between precast slabs in a parking garage? Garage is in a northern climate and takes a beating from road salt tracked in from cars and large temperature swings. My understanding is that either silicone or polyurethane is the way to go. I'm looking for a manufacturer to talk to.

Sika, BASF, Epirez, and there are others. I think polyurethane sealants are now preferred for concrete joints. No matter which materials you use, preparation is all important. Cleanliness, bond breaking backing rod, primer, and generally good workmanship. Not just any construction laborer can achieve satisfactory results.

I consider a two-part polyurethane to be the Cadillac of sealants. Sikaflex 2c SL (self leveling) is our preferred choice.
Call your Sika representative. They're knowledgeable and helpful.

If new construction polyurethanes work well... if existing, use silicone or polysulphide materials. All to be 2 component.
