Hello All,

I need to join several splines into a single spline so I can use it in a slot (point on line) assembly mechanism.

The splines are all straight lines connected between two points, but they are not in the same plane.

Ideally, I'd like to create a single entity made up of straight line segments through the points, but I can't find how to do this.

I'm using WF5.

Can anyone help?

Found it.. Or rather one of my colleagues did.

When creating the curve through points, use the single rad option, and make the rad zero.

If you have multiple curves already created, you can create a composite approximate curve.

Change selector to datum, select first curve, Hit Crtl+C, then Crtl+V (copy and paste), change from exact to approximate, go to details and select the rest of your curves and finish. You will then have a feature driven of the single entity's.

in Creo3 you can create a straight line curve thru point, with no fillet.

Thanks!

The copy paste works too.
