job prospects, current news and other information

hi,
can anyone point me to a website or a magazine that i can subscribe to regarding the water engineering jobs, new research projects and related miscellaneous information. I am thinking of doing master's in this field but am not sure about the job prospects in this field.
Also does anyone know of a place where they have ranked all the engineering fields along with the salaries?

If you are not in the USA, I have no clue. If you are:

ASCE tracks wages by discipline and degree/experience, I've seen their list before, not sure how you get it.

The magazine ENR (Engineering New Record) ranks the top 500 firms every year, then breaks them down by discipline. I would guess they also track wages by discipline and degree/experience.

Remember: The Chinese ideogram for “crisis” is comprised of the characters for “danger” and “opportunity.”
