You replied to my thread with a question about cracking during hot forming in a SS.
I am doing a failure analysis of a SS material similar to 440 Stainless. We have seen some cracking in it. Your comment made me think of this as a possible failure mode.
Could you give specifics of your applications? It would be extremely helpful and interesting to me.
