Good evening fellow engineers,

I am looking for information regarding the swivel joint marked up in attached PDF. Is it just a hollow pipe with bolt going through it? or is it usually a pin inside a bearing and further enclosed inside pipe? Any information or breakdown of that joint will be highly appreciated

Thank you
Kaffy

It's a bad idea to just have a pipe and bolt because steel on steel sliding under load is a no-no in most cases.

Bronze bushings are the way to go here.

Thank you very much. Really helpful

They sell these things. You can buy them out of a catalog, with a load rating.
