Iterative Loads for Desired Deflection?

Is there a way to find what input load gives a certain desired displacement at a point other than trial and error?

As long as you are doing linear analysis deflection is proportional to load. Just scale your result.

The loading and geometry isn't linear at all. I was hoping you could set up Pro/Mech to vary one specific load to see what force it would take to create a specific displacement at another point.

Yes , you can create a Measure feature(the deflection at a point, make sure you create that point first) and sweep your load through the range of values you are interested in.

I recall seeing the 'measure' feature, but how do I do a load sweep as you described? Or did you just mean manually enter in a different load every analysis?
