Hi all,
I am new to using the Itasca codes. I am learning how to use FISH to automate things and I am wondering if there is a way for me to get the programs (3DEC specifically) to send out an email once the analysis is over or if it encounters errors. We run the codes on the server and it is very annoying going back after three hours just to see the program had stopped two hours before. I am thinking it would be perfect if I can just call an outside program/script to do the messaging. I don't know if sockets are useful for this.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
