Is this belong to butt welding type?

Dear all

I have some questions for butt welding type.
Please understand that I don`t know how to attach reference photos in this site.

End preparation of two members(a & B) are as below description, and only "(W)" mark are welding(PJP) point.
In this case, is this welding belong to butt welding type?
Is it possible to check with radiography exam.?

To embed and image.

Place an image file on a file hosting site of your choice that allows direct reference. DropBox, SugarSync, Box, flicker, Picassa all seem to work.

Get the URL of you picture.

Click the "Picture" button, or use Control-P and paste the URL.

Submit post.
