Is there a comprehensive chemical odor threshold database?

I work in air pollution control and am occasionally responsible for designing equipment to neutralize odors. While I can often find the odor threshold of a target chemical using resources like CAMEO or various chemical databases, I’m looking for a more comprehensive and dedicated database that specifically focuses on odor-related properties.

Cameo - https://cameochemicals.noaa.gov/chemical/8823

odor-related properties.
can you describe what you mean?

a good source for odor threshold is PubChem, e.g.

Specifically, I am looking for a database of the chemicals odor threshold - at what concentration is the chemical olfactorily undetectable.

PubChem is good, and so is Cameo if the USCG CHRIS Code is published. But I am hoping for the existence of a much larger database.

I understand that this is a shoot in the dark and it's unlikely that something like that exists. But this site has surprised me before.

The 13 references for H2S under the PubChem link is not large enough? How many do you need? If few, then what is wrong with these?

if USCG CHRIS Code is published
Note that CAS# is more popular.

For info - the ASTM data series are available

For info - some discussions and references can be found in

Still waiting for what properties you mean.

Having references is important, but what I want is a large database of chemicals. For example, a while ago I need odor-threshold values for the carboxylic acid compounds that are prevalent in vegetable oil refining, palmitic acid, oleic acid, etc. But no database I looked at had these chemicals listed.

Also, the property I am most interested in is odor threshold - lowest concentration of a chemical compound in air that can be detected by the human sense of smell.

Thank you for the sources you have provided. I haven't done a deep dive into them yet, but at first glance they appear to be what I am looking for.

A threshold means experiments must have been conducted. An expensive and complex procedure, I should note, with few opportunities of results being used by someone in the future. How many decision-makers are there who would waste budgets and human resources on such a thing? I suppose none, given there are no strong external reasons/incentives to do so.

If your factory/storage site/transship location is near a residential or business area, odor thresholds and dispersion modeling is very important unless you want the neighbors shutting you down due to odor complaints. I know this from hard experience with plants that used chemicals with a ppb odor threshold.

Hi,
For the reasons explained above by Matt, I relocated a plant from Australia (Melbourne area) To Thailand. The chemical was Ethyl acrylate.
