is it a good to integrate model and drawing together or have them seperated?

Just notice after you finish a model, and click "start" button and choose drafting, the drafting interface will show up and can add view, do dimension, etc.

Finaly, click save, and notice only one single file instead of two seperated files which happens only when i click "New" and select drawing tab and start drafting.

Do a search on here about master model concept with in regards to drawings. The preferred method is two separate files. There is a ton of information on this site.

While NX still supports both approaches, mostly for legacy users (however, it's been over 20 years since you had NO CHOICE but to have the drawing and the model in the same file, so perhaps it's time that we took more drastic steps), we highly recommend that you use the Master Model approach and keep you model separate from ALL downstream applications, not just Drafting but also Manufacturing and Analysis (in fact, the CAE modules FORCE you to work in Master Model mode).

Master Model mode allows more flexibility in detailing the model and creates smaller file sizes as the drawing, manufacturing and model data are all contained within their own files. The drawing, manufacturing and other applications only have a link to the model.

You can do anything in the drawing only MM file that you can in an imbedded model drawing file. No loss of functionality and a win in having smaller files to open.

I think that would be great, having to work with a large files in a legacy hierarchy scheme that does not include the MM method. I think forcng the issue will be the only way to make our processes more robust, but I do work in a global company where changes of this sort are like turning an aircraft carrier.
