Does anyone have experience doing FEA with models made in IronCAD? I have a legacy part made in IronCAD, and I need to do an FEA mating it with a newer part made in SolidWorks. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the best way to go about getting the IronCAD model into COSMOS is. I can export as a variety of options, but if I do a step or iges file, it seems to come into solidworks as an assembly of faces, which I don't think is what I want to run FEA with. Anyone have experience or suggestions?
