I am reviewing a part with a metric involute spline. One tolerance specified is a "radial circle jumpiness tolerance". Is this another way of saying radial concentricity? If not, what does it mean? Thanks

It's been a while since I have looked at metric specs, but refer to the Bosche Automotive Handbook. It gives excellent descriptions on this.

I would not make any assumption of what the designer was trying to convey with that note. I would contact them. This type of note does not follow the two standards that govern splines the American National Standard Metric Module Splines ANSI B92.2M or ISO 4156
