Invar 36 Fatigue Strength

Hello.. I'm new to this site (first time poster). I'm a Mech. Eng. working on Optical systems. We are using Invar in a couple of our systems and would like to figure out lifetime expectancy.

Does anyone know anything about the fatigue strength of Invar or any related data?

You have to be careful. The published values for INVAR 36 (free Machine) and alloy 32 (SUPER) are quite old. It turns out the alloy has changed over the years. I dont know what you are doing, but my guess is you whould probably lean toward the 32 alloy and follow its heat treat and stress relive. By the way, they have changed also. You can probably find some current info in the NASA ot JPL libraries.
