Invalid faces and mate errors in assemblies with SP3.0

Since the upgrade to SP3.0, I've been having lots of problems with mate errors, and especially losing/invalid faces. I know this is a problem if you change the parts, and so the face ID changes. However, I have been losing mates with parts that have not been changed by myself or anyone else.
For example, I have been working on an assembly all week, and this morning I opened it to find mate errors, which obviously were not there yesterday! This has happened on several occasions, and don't know why - has anyone been having similar problems, or could anyone suggest a solution? The problem seems to occur at random, and have only surfaced since the upgrade - Please help!

If you do a a lot of ctrl-Q's does some or all the mates come back? - You may have to do 30+ Ctrl-Q's...? If so, then that proves that the parts are changing Face ID's. There was a problem in SW03 SP0.0 when making files in that SP would or could cause this to happen. Later SP's never fixed this problem. If your experencing this then you need to talk to your VAR. Only SW can repair those files. But they to have been made in SP0.0 of SW03.
